You can update the check-in date, check-out date, and total price for a Booking.com reservation directly in your SiteMinder platform, without logging in to the Booking.com extranet. This applies to reservations with a single room or multiple rooms.
⚠️ This feature is only available for Booking.com reservations. To modify stay dates for reservations from other channels, log in to the relevant channel's extranet directly.
Before you report a stay date change
Before making changes, check that the reservation is eligible for modification:
The guest has already checked in
You have availability to accommodate the new dates
The check-out date has not already been changed within the last 24-hour period
You do not use payments by Booking.com or online payments. See Payments by Booking.com
The new stay must also meet these conditions:
The stay is at least 1 night
If the reservation is non-refundable, the new price is not lower than the original price
You have the total price in the currency defined for your property on Booking.com
The total price meets the minimum price set by Booking.com for the reservation
💡 For multi-night reservations, the total price you enter will be split evenly across all nights.
How to report a stay date change
To report a stay date change for a Booking.com reservation:
Go to Reservations.
Find and open the reservation.
Click the ellipsis button (three dots button) and select Report stay date changes.
Select the applicable room or rooms.
Enter the new Check-in date and Check-out date.
Enter the Total price.
Click Report changes.
Once your request is successfully sent to Booking.com, a confirmation message will appear confirming the request was sent and advising you to check back once Booking.com processes it. The updated details will appear in your platform once Booking.com processes the request. It can take up to 5 minutes for the updated details to appear in your platform.
💡 Your guest will receive an e-mail confirmation from Booking.com once the changes are processed.
⚠️ You can only update stay dates and the total price using this feature. For other changes such as guest details or room type, log in to the Booking.com extranet directly.
