Enable Reservation commission percentage in Channel settings for Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, and Jetstar to add the channel's commission percentage to reservation totals for NET rates.
Which channels support reservation commission percentage?
The Reservation commission percentage setting in Channel settings is only available for four channels: Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, and Jetstar. This setting does not exist for other OTAs or channels.
Enable reservation commission percentage for Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, and Jetstar
To enable reservation commission for Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, or Jetstar:
Go to Distribution > Channels tab.
Click the ellipsis button (three dots button) next to the channel's name (Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, or Jetstar).
Select Update channel settings.
Tick Reservation commission percentage and enter the commission percentage charged by the channel.
Click Save.
When enabled, the channel commission will be added to the reservation total shown in your SiteMinder platform and to the total sent to your property management system (PMS). This setting can be overridden for individual channel rates.
💡 Note: The reservation commission percentage is only added to reservation totals that exclude commission (NET rates).
Override reservation commission for specific Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, and Jetstar channel rates
To set a different commission percentage for an individual rate for Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, and Jetstar:
Go to Distribution > Channels.
Click the ellipsis button (three dots button) next to the channel (Agoda, Trip.com, Expedia, or Jetstar).
Select Edit room rates mapping.
Click on the channel rate.
Click Configure.
For Reservation commission percentage, select Override to set a different commission percentage for this specific room rate.
Enter the commission percentage.
Click Save.
