To request change of ownership for your property, log in to your SiteMinder platform > click on your property name > select Billing > Accounts > click Manage account.
If you have recently sold your property, are no longer directly managing your account, or need to transfer the account to a new manager, the Change of Ownership option gives you the ability to transfer your account to a new owner, without the need to cancel.
You can request a transfer of your SiteMinder account and chosen data to the new owner with our Change of Ownership option. No need to cancel your account.
How to request change of ownership
Requests for change of ownership can only be made by the Primary billing user.
To request a change of ownership for your SiteMinder account:
Log in to your SiteMinder platform.
Click on your property name in the top navigation bar.
Select Billing from the drop-down list. You will be taken to the self-service Billing portal.
In the Billing portal, go to Accounts.
Under your SiteMinder subscription account, click the Manage account button.
The account request form will open. Click Continue and select Change of Ownership.
Fill out the required fields in the form.
Submit the request. Once submitted our team will contact you as soon as possible to confirm your details and gather any additional information before finalising the process.
Who can request a change of ownership?
Only the Primary billing user can request a change of ownership. To manage billing users, click your property name, select Billing, then click the Billing users tab.
I've taken over a property — how do I get access to the SiteMinder account?
If a SiteMinder account needs to be transferred to you as the new owner or manager of a property, the current account holder needs to submit a change of ownership request and nominate you as the new owner. If you cannot contact the current account holder or do not have access to the account, contact our support team for assistance.
How will I know my change of ownership request has been processed?
Once your request has been submitted, our team will contact you to confirm your details and gather any additional information before finalising the process.
