Get started with SiteMinder Billing

The Billing portal is a self-service tool where you can manage your SiteMinder invoices, make payments, track any booking fees, and manage billing users all in one place.

Access the Billing portal

To access Billing, log in to your SiteMinder platform, click on your property name, then select Billing.

Who can access? Only users with billing user permissions can access the self-service Billing portal.

Can't see the Billing option? If Billing doesn't appear when you click on your property name, you may not have billing user permissions. Contact your primary billing user to request access. The first billing users are created during your onboarding process.

In your Billing portal you can:

  • Overview — View all your billing accounts and balances.

  • Invoices — Access and download invoices.

  • Payments — Track payment history and adjustments.

  • Accounts — Set up automatic payments and manage payment methods.

  • Booking fees — View Demand Plus and Channels Plus booking fees.

  • Billing users — Manage billing user access.

About billing accounts

You may have multiple billing accounts depending on your SiteMinder products. As a billing user, you can view and manage each account separately. For example:

  • SiteMinder subscription

  • Demand Plus

  • Channels Plus

  • GDS by SiteMinder

Each account has its own account balance, billing cycle, payment settings and methods, and automatic payment setup.

Overview

Billing users can use the Overview tab to view:

  • All billing accounts

  • Outstanding balances

  • Account status

  • Which accounts need payment

Invoices

Billing users can use the Invoices tab to:

  • View current and past invoices

  • Track payments and adjustments

  • Download invoice records

  • View and export payment history

Accounts

Billing users can use the Accounts tab to:

  • Set up automatic payments

  • Update payment methods

  • Manage payment settings for each account

To change the frequency in which your invoices are billed for your subscription/plan, (monthly, quarterly, or yearly), please contact our support team (the request must come from the main billing user).

If you need to cancel or put your SiteMinder subscription on hold, do so via Billing > Accounts tab > Manage account.

Booking fees

Billing users can use the Booking fees tab to view:

  • View all fees for Demand Plus and Channels Plus

  • See how booking fees are calculated

  • View the billable amount for each transaction

  • See if fees are pending (not yet invoiced), invoiced, or prepaid (already paid to the channel at time of booking)

Here you can also:

  • Filter your booking fees by account, date period, and status

  • Export the list of booking fees by downloading a CSV file
