Inventory updates supported by Hotelbeds
Hotelbeds supports the following inventory updates:
Rates
Availability
Minimum stay / minimum stay on arrival
Maximum stay / maximum stay on arrival
Stop sell
Hotelbeds does not support:
CTA (closed to arrival)
CTD (closed to departure)
Hotelbeds has a maximum inventory update period of 750 days.
Before connecting to Hotelbeds
Before connecting to Hotelbeds:
You will need a Hotelbeds account and make sure your property is set up in Hotelbeds.
You need to create rooms and rates in Hotelbeds’ extranet, to match the set up in your platform.
Log into your Hotelbeds extranet and take note of the Property code (also called “hotel ID”) that Hotelbeds has assigned to your property.
You will need to know your Channel Manager XML (HSI) Username and password. If you are unsure, contact the Hotelbeds support team.
Enable connection in your Hotelbeds extranet
Log into your Hotelbeds extranet.
Take note of your Property code.
Go to the Channel Manager tab.
Search for and select SiteMinder for Booking Management and Inventory Management then click Save Changes.
Take note of the Channel Manager XML User. This is your HSI Username.
Your HSI Password is sent to you separately from Hotelbeds. If you are unsure of this password, contact the Hotelbeds support team.
Connect Hotelbeds in your platform
To connect Hotelbeds in your platform:
Go to Distribution > Channels.
Find and click on Hotelbeds.
Follow the steps to connect.
Enter your Property code, HSI Username and password, and reservation e-mail address.
Click Next.
Review the details then click Connect.
The channel will be automatically connected.
Next, go to the Room rates mapping page to map your room rates to Hotelbeds.
Update Hotelbeds channel settings
Once Hotelbeds is connected, you can update the channel settings:
Go to Distribution > Channels.
Find Hotelbeds and click on the ellipsis button (three dots button).
Select Update channel settings.
Click the pencil (edit) icon to edit.
Update the settings.
Click Save.
Hotelbeds channel settings:
Rate multiplier: Set to automatically adjust (increase or decrease) Hotelbeds prices.
Reservation e-mails: Reservation e-mail notifications will be sent to this address. Note: If you only have HSI (inventory updates) enabled for Hotelbeds, then you will receive e-mails directly from Hotelbeds instead.
Username and password: Update your Hotelbeds username or password in channel settings if they are changed by Hotelbeds. If the entered username or password becomes incorrect, the channel will be disabled.

Enable Hotelbeds
Once you have mapped all required room rates and checked that availability, rates, and restrictions are correct, enable the channel to start sending inventory updates.
To enable Hotelbeds:
Go to Distribution > Channels.
Find Hotelbeds and click on the ellipsis button (three dots button).
Select Update channel settings.
Click the pencil (edit) icon to edit.
Click the “Enable the connection to Hotelbeds” button.
