💡 Important to know:

  • To manage your plug-in apps, go to Direct booking > Configuration > Plug-in apps.

  • You must have an account with a plug-in app to integrate it with your direct booking engine.

  • Some plug-in apps charge fees to use their services — contact the provider directly to find out more.

Integrate Floodlight Sales Activity

Floodlight is a conversion tracking system for customers using DoubleClick Digital Marketing (DDM), an integrated ad technology platform enabling advertisers to create, manage, and grow high-impact digital marketing campaigns more effectively.

A Floodlight Sales Activity represents a purchase made through a specific advertisement or campaign, whereas a Floodlight impression is counted when a user visits a webpage with a Floodlight tag. But if the same user triggers a second Floodlight impression during a specified period, known as a ‘lookback window’, that is counted as a conversion.

💡 You must have an account with DDM to track Floodlight Sales Activity on your booking engine. For more information, visit the Google Marketing Platform.

Follow these steps to integrate Floodlight Sales Activity with your direct booking engine:

  1. Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Plug-in apps.

  2. Find Floodlight Sales Activity and click on it.

  3. Fill in your Advertiser ID , Group tag string and Google activity string (all of which are found in Floodlight Sales Activity).

  4. Click Enable to activate your integration with Floodlight Sales Activity.

Integrate Google Ads

With Google Ads, you can attract customers to your direct booking engine by promoting digital ads on Google’s vast advertising network.

Your direct booking engine supports tracking of Google Ads conversion rates from pay-per-click (PPC) keyword campaigns, helping you not only track the efficiency of your campaigns, but also make better marketing decisions.

💡 You must have an account with Google Ads to integrate it with your direct booking engine. To get started, visit the Google Ads page.

Follow the steps below to integrate Google Ads with your direct booking engine.

  1. Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Plug-in apps.

  2. Find Google Ads and click on it.

  3. Fill in your Conversion ID and Conversion label. ( You can find these values in your Google Ads platform.)

  4. Click Enable and Google Ads will start tracking the conversion of your campaigns.

Integrate Sojern

Sojern’s ads target travellers looking for accommodation in your area, encouraging them to book through your direct booking engine. By integrating Sojern, you can maximise the impact of your marketing budget and reach travellers across various channels, websites, and devices.

💡 You must have an account with Sojern to integrate it with your direct booking engine. For more information, contact the team at siteminder-sojern@sojern.com

To integrate Sojern with your direct booking engine, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Plug-in apps.

  2. Find Sojern and click on it.

  3. Your Client key will be automatically populated with your property’s ID on your property platform’s URL.

  4. Click Enable.

Integrate The Hotels Network

The Hotels Network helps you attract, engage, and convert visitors throughout their online booking journey, using predictive personalisation that offers every guest a unique booking experience.

💡 You must have an account with The Hotels Network to integrate it with your direct booking engine. For more information, visit The Hotels Network.

Follow the below steps to integrate The Hotels Network with your direct booking engine:

  1. Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Plug-in apps.

  2. Find The Hotel Network and click on it.

  3. Fill in the Channel code provided by The Hotels Network.

  4. Click Enable.

Integrate Flip.to

Flip.to is a social media advocacy platform that enables guests to promote your hotel by sharing experiences on their social media networks. This creates word-of-mouth advertising that is effective at inspiring future travellers to choose your property.

💡 You must have an account with Flip.to to integrate it with your booking engine. Visit Flip.to for more information.

Follow these steps to integrate Flip.to with your direct booking engine:

  1. Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Plug-in apps.

  2. Find Flip.to and click on it.

  3. Fill in your Flip.to code and Company code (both provided by Flip.to).

  4. Click Enable.

Integrate Userguest

Userguest gives your property the technology, marketing tools, and data-driven recommendations needed to maximise your website's revenue.

💡 You must submit a free trial request to integrate Userguest with your direct booking engine. Visit Userguest to get started.

Follow the steps below to integrate Userguest with your direct booking engine.

  1. Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Plug-in apps.

  2. Find Userguest and click on it.

  3. Fill in your Key (provided by Userguest).

  4. Click Enable.
