Pause, cancel, or reactivate Demand Plus

Pausing Demand Plus temporarily stops your rates from appearing on Google Hotel Ads, TripAdvisor, and Trivago metasearch channels. Your account will reactivate on your scheduled reactivation date.

Suspending Demand Plus cancels the service with no reactivation date. To resume, you must reactivate it manually.

Any existing Demand Plus reservations remain active and will appear on future invoices after pausing or suspending.

Pause Demand Plus

To pause Demand Plus:

  1. Log into your SiteMinder platform (desktop version).

  2. Go to Distribution > Demand Plus.

  3. Click Pause Demand Plus under More information.

  4. Select a pause duration: one month, three months, or six months.

  5. Or, enter a custom end date to set your own pause period.

  6. Enter a reason for pausing.

  7. Click Pause.

Suspend Demand Plus

To suspend Demand Plus:

  1. Log into your SiteMinder platform (desktop version).

  2. Go to Distribution > Demand Plus.

  3. Click Pause Demand Plus under More information.

  4. Select Suspend.

  5. Enter a reason for suspending.

  6. Click Pause.

While Demand Plus is paused or suspended

While Demand Plus is paused or suspended:

  • Existing reservations will stay active

  • These existing reservations will appear in future invoices

  • Remember to review your monthly statement for any cancellations or no-shows

Reactivate Demand Plus

  1. Log into your SiteMinder platform (desktop version).

  2. Go to Distribution > Demand Plus

  3. Click Reactivate Demand Plus

After reactivating, it may take a few days for your rates to appear on metasearch channels again.

Can I pause Demand Plus for a specific duration?

Yes, you can pause Demand Plus for one month, three months, or six months, or set a custom end date. Demand Plus reactivates automatically when the pause period ends. If you do not want a set reactivation date, you can suspend Demand Plus instead.

What happens to existing reservations if I pause or suspend Demand Plus?

Pausing or suspending Demand Plus affects only future bookings. Existing reservations remain active and unchanged, and will still appear on future invoices. Commission charges continue for any existing bookings made before pausing or suspending.
