💡 Important to know:

  • To connect SynXis to our platform, you need a SynXis account — if you do not have one, go to SynXis’s website to create an account before proceeding.

Process reservations by room code

The Process reservations by room code setting is useful if you have many room rates created on SynXis that don’t need to be differentiated in our platform.

If enabled — only the room code will be used to process bookings from SynXis. Reservations for all room rates (mapped or unmapped) will be processed as long as one room rate of the same room type is mapped.

If not enabled — both room code and rate code will be used to process bookings from SynXis. Reservations from unmapped room rates will be processed as long as there is at least one rate mapped with that room type. If no rate from the room type is connected, the reservation won 't reach our platform and you will need to make manual changes.

  • If you have a connectivity integration or direct booking engine — manually create the reservation in your connectivity integration or direct booking engine.

  • If you don’t have a connectivity integration or direct booking engine — manually modify the availability for that room type in Distribution > Inventory.

Enterprise hotel

Select Yes if your hotel is classified as an Enterprise hotel in SynXis.

Use minimum stay through

There are two types of minimum stay: Minimum stay through and Minimum stay on arrival.

  • If Use minimum stay through is set to Yes — your minimum stay will be sent to SynXis as Minimum stay through. If there are different minimum stay values applied to any of the stay dates, this setting ensures the greater value is applied to bookings.

➕ Example:

  • A booking will be made via SynXis for 15 - 17 August.

  • A minimum stay through value of 3 nights applies on 15 and 16 August.

  • As the minimum stay through period of 3 nights applies to the reservation, a third night must be added to be able to complete the booking.

  • If Use minimum stay through is set to No — your minimum stay will be sent to SynXis as Minimum stay on arrival. This rule defines the minimum stay period for bookings according to the check-in date’s minimum.

➕ Example:

  • A booking will be made via SynXis for 15 - 17 August.

  • There is a minimum stay on arrival value of 2 nights on 15 August and 3 nights on 16 August.

  • As the minimum stay is defined by the check-in date, the two-night stay will be possible.
