How to connect and map to Roiback.

Inventory updates supported by Roiback

Roiback supports the following inventory updates:

  • Rates and occupancy — rates on the Inventory grid, extra adult rate, extra child rate, and single guest discount

  • Availability

  • Minimum stay / minimum stay on arrival

  • Stop sell

  • CTA (closed to arrival)

  • CTD (closed to departure)

Roiback does not support maximum stay.

Roiback has a maximum inventory update period of 700 days.

Connect to Roiback

Before connecting to Roiback, you will need to:

  • Have a Roiback account and set up your property in Roiback’s extranet.

  • Create rooms and rates in Roiback’s extranet, to match the set up in your SiteMinder platform.

To connect to Roiback:

  1. Log into your Roiback extranet. Request an XML connection with SiteMinder. Take note of the Property code (also called “hotel ID”) that Roiback has assigned to your property.

  2. In your SiteMinder platform, go to Distribution > Channels find and click on Roiback > follow the steps to connect.

  3. Once you confirm and click Connect, please wait 24 hours for our support team to confirm the connection with Roiback.

Update Roiback channel settings

Once the connection with Roiback is confirmed and activated, you can update the channel settings in Distribution > Channels > find Roiback and click on the ellipsis button (three dots button) > select Update channel settings > update the following settings:

  • Property code

  • Rate multiplier

Map to Roiback

To map your room rates to Roiback:

  1. Go to Distribution > Channels > find Roiback and click on the ellipsis button (three dots button) > select Edit room rates mapping which will take you to the Room rates mapping page.

  2. Click Map to Roiback on the channel manager room rate you want to map.

  3. Configure the settings for the channel rate.

  4. Click Save.

Enable Roiback

Once you have mapped all required room rates and checked that availability, rates, and restrictions are correct, enable Roiback to start sending inventory updates.

To enable Roiback, go to Distribution > Channels > find Roiback and click on the ellipsis button (three dots button) > select Update channel settings > click the “Enable the connection to Roiback” button.
