Which connections support rate and restriction sync from SiteMinder → PMS/RMS?
Syncing rates and restrictions from SiteMinder to your PMS/RMS is available if you connect through:
Opera OHIP (not available for Opera ADS or Opera OXI connections)
Oracle (rates only; syncing restrictions from SiteMinder are not supported)
Cloudbeds
Mews
RMS
If you're not on a supported integration, the SiteMinder → PMS/RMS sync option is not available. To request this capability, contact your PMS provider.
Note: Oracle only supports syncing rates from SiteMinder. Stop sell, close to arrivals, close to departures and minimum length of stay cannot be synced from SiteMinder to Oracle.
How do I enable rate and restriction sync from SiteMinder → PMS/RMS?
Contact our support team to enable this functionality before activating the sync in your inventory settings. This applies to all supported connections: Opera OHIP, Oracle, Cloudbeds, Mews and RMS.
Rates and restrictions can both be synced from SiteMinder to your PMS/RMS. The restrictions available in this direction are stop sell, close to arrivals, close to departures and minimum length of stay.
⚠️ For Oracle connections, only rates can be synced from SiteMinder. Restrictions cannot be synced from SiteMinder to Oracle.
Choose how inventory syncs between SiteMinder and your PMS/RMS
Choose how inventory data flows between systems:

Steps
Update inventory settings for your connected PMS/RMS:
In your SiteMinder platform, go to Distribution > Integrated Systems.
Select your connected PMS/RMS.
In the Settings tab, scroll down to Inventory settings and click on the pencil icon.
Select a sync direction: PMS/RMS → SiteMinder, Do not sync, or SiteMinder → PMS/RMS. The SiteMinder → PMS/RMS option is available if you connect through Opera OHIP, Oracle, Cloudbeds, Mews or RMS and support has enabled this for you. For Oracle, this direction syncs rates only.
How do I update rates and restrictions to sync to my PMS/RMS?
Once enabled for supported integrations, you can update your rates and restrictions from SiteMinder:
Enter them directly in the Inventory grid, in the Integrated Systems section for your connected PMS/RMS
Dynamic Revenue Plus: if you are using Dynamic Revenue Plus, your dynamic pricing recommendations can sync automatically from SiteMinder to your PMS/RMS, keeping your rates consistent without manual updates
Set a different sync direction for a specific rate
You can set different inventory settings for individual rates by overriding your default PMS/RMS inventory settings. For example, you might want to manage most rates directly in your SiteMinder platform, but sync one rate from your PMS/RMS.
To override inventory settings for a specific rate:
In your SiteMinder platform, go to Distribution > Integrated Systems.
Click on your PMS/RMS.
Go to the Rooms and rates mapping tab.
Click on the PMS/RMS rate, then click on Edit inventory settings.
Click on the lock icon to make changes.
When an override is applied, you'll see an "Inventory override" label on the PMS/RMS room rate.
⚠️ Important to note:
After making changes: if you change settings to make your PMS the source of inventory data, you must perform a flush from the PMS to ensure the latest data syncs with SiteMinder.
