To add, view and manage your Direct booking rates, go to Direct booking > Direct booking rates.
Create direct booking rates
Once you create room types, rate plans, and room rates in Rooms and Rates, to sell them on your SiteMinder booking engine, you need to add them to Direct booking. To do this:
Go to Direct booking > Direct booking rates.
Click on the status Not added.
Click on the room rate you want to add, then click Add to direct booking.
Review the summary, then click Add. Once the rate is added, you will be able to view and edit the direct booking rate’s configuration (such as occupancy, pricing, and direct booking controls).
⚠️ If the rate has an Incomplete setup status, edit the rate to add any missing data before adding them to Direct booking.
Edit direct booking rates
Once you have added direct booking rates to Direct booking, you can review and edit the direct booking rate’s configuration (such as occupancy, pricing, and direct booking controls).
To edit a direct booking rate:
Go to Direct booking > Direct booking rates.
Click on the room rate you want to edit/update, then click Edit.
Add/update the direct booking rate, then click Save.
Direct booking rate configuration is inherited from the room rate. If you want to override the rate’s configuration for your booking engine, click on the lock icon and enter the new value you want to set.
Suspend or unsuspend a direct booking rate
If you want to temporarily stop selling a rate on your booking engine, you can suspend the direct booking rate. When you are ready to start selling it again, you can unsuspend the direct booking rate at any time.
To suspend or unsuspend a direct booking rate:
Go to Direct booking > Direct booking rates.
Find and click on the direct rate you want to suspend or unsuspend.
Click Suspend/Unsuspend.
Delete a direct booking rate
If you no longer want to sell a rate on your booking engine, you can delete it from Direct booking. The rate will only be deleted from Direct booking (not from your platform’s Rooms and Rates). You can re-add the rate to Direct booking at any time.
To delete a direct booking rate:
Go to Direct booking page > Direct booking rates.
Click on the direct rate you want to delete.
Click Delete direct booking rate.
Click Delete.
