How to run a Master Rate Audit Report (Single-Hotel User)

The Master Rate Audit Report will provide the following information:

  • Rate name

  • Rate description

  • Commission

  • Policy Assignments

  • Rate Access Codes

  • GDS Platforms to which the rates are mapped to

  • Season start and end dates

  • Rate pricing and rooms

  • Stay restrictions

Requirements:
You need to run four reports and upload them to produce a Master rate audit report.

Download the Bulk Price Season import

  1. Click Setup > Data Import > Bulk Price Season Import.

  2. From the Select Action box, select Download Template .

  3. From the Hotel Level box, select Single Hotel.

  4. Under Rate Search, select Active under Status and click Search Rates

  5. Under Rate Results:

    1. ​Select all rates by ticking the top box

    2. If you have more than 100 rates loaded make sure you select 500 rows per page.

  6. Click Generate download at the top of the page.

  7. The following message will appear " The download generation was scheduled successfully. Click on the View Downloads to see the download processing status and detail ".

  8. Select View Downloads.

  9. Continue to Refresh the view until the Completed status is 100%. This may take some time if you have lots of rates. When the status is 100% completed the file is ready to be downloaded.

  10. Select Download.

  11. Open the file to view and save. Note: The file format must be saved as an Excel workbook (.xlsx).

​You now need to repeat these steps for rate data and stay restrictions.

Download the Bulk Rate Data import

  1. Click Setup > Data Import > Bulk Rate Data Import.

  2. From the Select Action box, select Download Template.

  3. From the Hotel Level box, select Single Hotel.

  4. Under Rate Search, select Active under Status and click Search Rates.

  5. Under Rate Results:

    1. ​Select all rates by ticking the top box

    2. If you have more than 100 rates loaded make sure you select 500 rows per page.

  6. Click Generate download at the top of the page.

  7. The following message will appear " The download generation was scheduled successfully. Click on the View Downloads to see the download processing status and detail ".

  8. Select View Downloads.

  1. Click Setup > Data Import > Bulk Stay Restriction Import.

  2. From the Select Action box, select Download Template.

  3. From the Hotel Level box, select Single Hotel.

  4. Under Rate Search, select Active under Status and click Search Rates.

  5. Under Rate Results:

    1. ​Select all rates by ticking the top box

    2. If you have more than 100 rates loaded make sure you select 500 rows per page.

  6. Click Generate download at the top of the page.

  7. The following message will appear " The download generation was scheduled successfully. Click on the View Downloads to see the download processing status and detail ".

  8. Select View Downloads.

Download the Hotel Rate Audit report

  1. Click Reports > Reports > Rates > Hotel Rate Audit.

  2. Select Search to add your hotel.

  3. Type in your property name and click Search. Your property will appear underneath.

  4. Tick the box for your property and click Add Selected at the top of the page.

  5. Under Channels select GDS.

  6. Click Generate Report at the top of the page.

  7. Click the disc symbol and select Excel. The hotel audit report is now downloaded.

Generate the Master Rate Audit report

  1. Before the four reports are uploaded it is important to check that the four files are saved in the .xlsx file format or an error will result.

  2. Click on this link to upload the reports - Master rate audit report.

  3. Click on Browse in each of the four sections and select your files to upload.

  4. Once all four files have been selected, click Upload.

  5. Once the upload has processed the four files successfully, a single Excel file will automatically download.

  6. Once the download has been completed, open the file to view the results and save the file as your Master Rate Audit Report.
