About the Payment terminal
With the Payment terminal, you can accept manual card payments from guests via your web browser. Process payments for various needs including:
Walk-in guest bookings
Food and beverage charges
Activities and merchandise
Any other one-off payments
The Payment terminal accepts all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express. While transaction fees apply according to your SiteMinder Pay agreement, there are no extra charges for using the terminal itself.
Remember that you'll need to manually add any taxes and promotions as these aren't automatically included.
Take a manual payment
To process a payment using the Payment terminal:
Go to Payments > Payment terminal.
Enter the payment details including the Description, Amount and Surcharge.
Enter the credit card details.
Review that all details and the Total amount to charge are correct.
Click Process payment to complete the transaction.
Manage payments
Go to Payments > Transactions to:
View all processed payments and their details
Process refunds
Generate payment confirmations
All guest credit card details are automatically deleted 7 days after check-out.
