If your property only allows adults, or doesn't allow children under a certain age, you can configure your direct booking settings to restrict booking to guests above a certain age.
Hide child and infant options
If you don't allow children or infants, you can hide the child and infant options on your direct booking engine.
When you hide child or infant age categories, these options won't appear on your direct booking website. Guests cannot add children or infants to their booking.
Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Guest display options
Scroll to the Maximum room occupancy section
To remove the children selector, tick Hide child selector on your Direct booking engine
To remove the infant selector, tick Hide infant selector on your Direct booking engine
Click Publish changes
For connected channels(OTAs): To set up adults only or age restrictions on connected channels (OTAs), you need to configure this directly with each channel. Contact each channel or log in to their extranet to set up adults only restrictions.
Set age settings for Direct Booking
To set age ranges for your direct booking engine:
Go to Direct booking > Configuration > Guest display options
Click on the edit button (pencil icon)
Tick Enable maximum child age
Set your Maximum child age (e.g., 17 years)
Tick Enable maximum infant age
Set your Maximum infant age (e.g., 2 years)
Click Publish changes
For connected channels(OTAs): To set age ranges/categories for connected channels (OTAs), you need to configure this directly with each channel. Age ranges for OTA bookings are not set in your platform. Log in to each channel’s extranet or contact the channel directly if you need help setting up age restrictions, child age ranges, or minimum ages for the channel.
