💡 To create a cancellation policy, first set your primary language in the Audience page.
Set up your cancellation policy for direct booking rates in Multi-Property
Go to Multi-Property > Distribution > Rate plans.
Click on a rate plan mapped to Direct booking.
Click the Channels tab.
In the Direct booking section, click Manage.
Click the Policies tab.
Click Edit to update settings.
Enter your policy description in Advertised cancellation policy.
For refundable settings, enable or disable Non-refundable. Enable it to make all bookings non-refundable. Disable it to allow refunds with penalties.
If allowing refunds, select a Default penalty for cancellations or no-shows on check-in day.
Add cancellation rules and penalties for different time periods before check-in.
Click Add seasonal override to create different penalties for specific date ranges.
Click Save when complete.
Set up your payment policy
Help guests understand what payments are required and when by setting up your payment policy. Select one of these booking guarantee options:
Always guarantee booking - no card details required
Require card details to guarantee booking
Require card details if arriving after a specific time
Require first night deposit, fixed amount, or percentage deposit
Require full pre-payment when booking
Add a custom field
Enable a custom field to collect additional information from guests during booking, such as special requests or preferences. Add your custom field label and required translations.
